IHRICON gets involved a great deal in lobbying. IHRICON has been lobbying the Government and political parties in favour of a free and dependent media, the promotion and protection of women's and children's rights, human rights and democracy since its establishment.

IHRICON conducted Gender Monitoring around the Cantonment areas for the implementation of the Arms Management Agreement in Sindhuli and Kailali Districts. The objective was to lobbying the concerned groups/places on the issues of the violation of the agreement, to obtain the results obtained during the monitoring around the cantonment, to point out the faults of different parties and put pressure on them peacefully as well as to increase awareness levels. The work involved meeting the concerned parties/authorities and sending a submission/memorandum, lodging an appeal, issuing a press release etc. All these were carried out with the support of IHRICON. All these peaceful activities were conducted within the project period and continued to be delivered after the completion of the project.
