| News: 8th Annual General Assembly held | |
IHRICON's 8th Annual General Assembly held 19th September, 2009 General assembly has decided to expand the branch office of IHRICON all over Nepal. The assembly also gave the mandate to the executive committee to decide the working areas, working modalities and procedure of the branch organisation.
The 8th annual general assembly meeting of Institute of Human Rights Communication Nepal (IHRICON) was successfully held on 18th September, 2009 at the IHRICON Hall. All the board members and the general members as well as the advisors of Institute of Human Rights Communication Nepal (IHRICON) attended the function.
The event was inaugurated by Ganga Gurung, a chairperson of Institute of Human Rights Communication Nepal (IHRICON). Inaugurating the assembly, the chairperson of IHRICON, Ms. Ganga Gurung expressed thanks to all the members for their continuous prayer and support to the works of IHRICON. Mr. Kapil Kafle, an executive director of institute of Human Rights Communication Nepal (IHRICON) delivered the welcome speech to all the participants at the programme. Addressing the assembly, General Secretary of IHRICON, Ms. Mina Sharma presented the report on behalf of General Secretary Ms. Mina Sharma. Ms. Kiran Sharma, treasurer of Institute of human rights communication Nepal also presented the financial report of the fiscal year 2065/066. The report presented by General secretary and treasurer were passed by majority of all the members. The working committee has apporved Mr. Janak Baral as an auditor in the fiscal year 2065/066. Ms. Geeta Gautam has been elected as a member of working committee that has been vacant for a long time in absence of Ms. Anita Bista. Ms. Ganga Gurung, a chairperson of Institute of Human Rights Communication Nepal (IHRICON) concluded the event by highlighting the role of all the members, advisors and staff members for their active participation to uplift the condition of IHRICON in this stage.
