Free Drinking Water served to Women's Day participants

Institute of Human Rights CommunicationNepal (IHRICON) has served free drinking water to all the participants of International Working Women's Day on 8th March. Two stalls of the water were established at the side of the main gates at the premises of the mass meetings and the fair in the capital on the auspicious occasion of Centenary International Working Women's Day 2010. Stalls had bee running through out the day from 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM at the door step of Tundikhel and Bhrikuti Mandap so far.
 
Similarly, IHRICON participated at the rally on the occasion, along with more than 50 organisations in the program. The members, staffs and volunteers of IHRICON, sister wings like: National Women Security Watch (NWS Watch) Group, Youth Ambassadors for Change (YAC) partners like- Siddhartha Women Group and South Asia Peace Alliance (SAPA) were participated under the same banner at the rally. The rally began from PadmaKanyaCollege, Bagbazar Kathmandu and ended to Bhrikutimandap after making big circles through the main centers of the capital.
 
Sirjana Drinking Waters provided the 53 Jars of H2O waters to IHRICON on the occasion. People who participated at the rally enjoyed the drinking water and exterminated their thirst of water. Participants of the rally appreciated the activities of IHRICON distributing the free drinking water.
 
The program was also supported by Samachar Patra, the national Daily newspaper.
